Purchased this when I saw in Walmart. Wanted to reverse flush my black/gray tanks. Hooked it up to the discharge pipe on the front of the RV, which is plumbed to my front black tank (52 gal) and my gray tank (104 gal). Opened the black tank valve and drained completely, then closed the valve on the Rhino Blaster. Turned the water on (love that it has a 1/4-turn valve right here, with a check valve, too. Added 45 gals of water into the black and turned off water, then drained. Repeated twice to get pretty clean water (was surprised it was that clean). Switched to gray tank open and black closed. Ran in about 80 gals before I had water backing up into the shower. This was the case each time, so I suspect i don't really have 104 gallons capacity, but more like 75. Anyway, flushed the gray 4 times and still had a little chunky stuff, but figured it was close enough for the first time.
I noticed on the last two flushes, I realized it started to drip from the connection where the check valve screws into the 1/4-turn valve (at the orange knob). It was a pretty slow leak, but still, it started leaking.
When I was done with those tanks, I needed to flush my rear tank (combined black/gray). As I took the unit off the discharge and walked to the back of the RV, the orange knob snapped off the 1/4-turn valve, just from the weight of the hose. Hose was off and valve was open - no water, no pressure. REALLY?
I spent about 15 minutes trying to find a way to get the knob back on the clear collar, but couldn't get it back on. If I had, it would have likely weakened the knob to the point it would never stay on anyway.
Came here and read the only other review, which says their broke at the exact same point. Seems to be a poorly designed weak spot. Think they need to take a look at how to fix this, as the unit is great - if it would last more than one use. Heck, I didn't even get to do my second tank.
